Damned, stage moves were a great part of the old-day shows, for sure, but does it really matter that much if Dave won't kick around, jump up and around, flip and all?

I'd rather get all the sound that's supposed to be on the tracks even if it supposes a much more static act.
There's only one thing that's always bugged me a little about CVH live: when Dave wouldn't sing the lines and do acrobatics instead... OK, it looked kickass and spectacular, it was one of the several trademarks that made the band so unique, but having the whole singing isn't bad, is it?

I agree, I think somebody needs to tell him he doesn't need to stand in front of the mic the whole time. The kid does seem to be playing the music well enough. I bet when thousands of screaming fans are cheering for VH he will losin up a bit.
