What the F##k is Hagar spewing. I went to the Philly show last night and there was a spattering of Sammy era T-shirts roaming around, but no one and I mean no one was clamoring to hear, When It's Love. Dave and his catalogue of classic VH ruled the evening. It was a perfect night until we filed out of the arena. There was a local radio station that had a huge video screen playing VH videos at the entrance of the arena and when we went in they were playing Panama. As we filed out of the arena they were playing the When It's Love video. Piss poor taste by this radio station and it really ticked me off. Other than that, it was a magical evening. DLR era VH rules, period.

K, there are/were lots of folks who've cried that Dave's solo outing over the last several years has been a "cover band" no? Well, at least they're Dave's songs of which he wrote!!!

Now MA's doing this shit along with ZZ-Top Covers, I guess and it's ok? Fuckin' MA didn't write these tunes and this sounds more like the definition of a cover band to me? In fact, has MA ever written a song of his own at all and at any point?

I read an interview with Mike a few years ago in which he was asked about Dave and his band performing a mostly CVH setlist, and Mike (apparently laughing) gave a slightly sarcastic reply about Dave fronting a VH cover band. I thought it was a stupid thing to say.

So yeah it's more than a little hypocritical for Mike to now go out and play CVH tunes that he had no part in writing.

Funny, how you NEVER saw Dave bring a look-a-like Spammy/Mike on stage with him. Know why?

Because in a rational world people wouldn't pay money to see them. Dave KNEW that. Unlike a lot of little whining bitches here that cried for their E-string thumping, can't hold a tune shreiking Mullet Man. bassplayer was going to make this current tour a success? Baw-hahahahahaha!
