You know whats great to see is first off, Dave is singing within his vocal range. He knows he isn't 25 anymore and can't hit every high note. His voice sounds better than it has in years and he is singing in a range that he is comfortable in. 2nd, I'm a huge classic rock fan and it gives me chills to see this band from the late 70s and early 80s packing in and selling out the arenas. There are still plenty of classic rock bands out there that will blow your socks off live but not one of them could come close to selling the amount of tickets CVH are selling. Eat your heart out Hagar, your days are done, get used to the club scene.

Awesome - thanks for bringing back great memories of last night. I was there drove over from Tennessee and just had a blast. I'll have to agree with Ellyllions - I would loved to have had a better seat myself - so now I'm already thinking about that future CD and subsequent world tour playing CVH and NEW Van Halen music - I'll have a better seat. Until then I'll be waiting for and watching over and over - Almost's great videos.All is finally right with the world - Van Halen has finally gotten back together.Comment

Well, my girlfriend and I made the 700 mile trek from South Mississippi to Greensboro, NC. The trip itself was fucking horrific and the hotel we are staying at (Comfort Inn) leaves a lot to be desired. Anyway, the show tonight was fan-fucking-tastic and everything I wanted it to be. While I was there, I met someone from the Army, I'm not sure who (tall blonde hair wearing I think a 1984 tour shirt and I was wearing my "It Ain't Van Halen Without DLR" shirt)...Cool guy whoever you are.Comment
