I agree with Nate. That song isn't that bad.. If 1996 hadn't gone so badly we might have heard a version of that tune with Dave on VOX.
Three time witness to the comeback of the MIGHTY VAN HALEN. And then they faded back into obscurity.

Thing is Ed was trying to get Gary to sing like Sammy.

Fuck, I remember when I first saw that video. I was embarassed to call myself a VH fan.

But then what I did was BLAST Fair Warning in my car to REMIND people what the REAL Van halen sounded like.

I actually like that song - certainly better than 90% of Van Hagar's material. Gary is not a bad singer, but if there was ever a worse match between an established band and the chosen new singer, I sure as hell can't figure it!

It just makes me more pissed at what stupid, arrogant assholes Ed and Al were thinking they could continue as musically viable without Dave after they pissed on his back in 96.'

They were about 18-months away from becoming what Journey is now...

Ed was acting like a fucking joker so the hat fit.

That song, that album, and that singer is gay. :D The coolest thing about that video was Mike's early 50's P-Bass.

Having seen Dave solo, yep as an Aussie, Cherone was my first taste of VH.

Torture doesn't describe it. We were treated to VH fronted by someone who thought he was in a BAD Queen cover band. I'm surprised Cherone wasn't wearing leotards such was his mimickry of Freddie Mercury, except that Cherone lacked Mercury's vocal ability, charisma, talent, humor, musicianship etc, etc.

"Without You" I prefered to Hagar's stuff, but the rest of that album and tour.......jeez!
