That's the PR machine in full motion. "Oh me and Sam got in a little fight, but then we held hands and froliced through a field of fresh flowers." No one in the media gives a SHIT 'bout Van Hagar. 5150 time indeed.

I just get so cracked up when you do see or hear something about Van Halen being back together or going on tour this summer and then with the article is a picture of Classic VH with Dave. Makes my day. This is bombing so bad, I almost feel sorry for Spam and the boys. I mean a little humiliation is a good thing, but this? Poor Ed is never gonna get off the bottle. At least we still have the Wiggles!

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but even though Sammy wasn't the best choice of singers...ALL of the tours did quite well.

Hell, they didn't even make a video for the 5150 album (except for the blue angel one.) They didn't even do TV appearances until the "Balance" album.

I'm telling you Van Hagar should have opened for the Wiggles on this tour. Although the little kids would probably be smart enough to realize how shitty the music is, and kick Spammy and Ed in the Vaginas. Then they'd get that Pirate to piss on Al's face. A great night at the ol' arena!

Who gives a fuck what Van Hagar did in the past. Van Halen had died (After VHIII) and there was only one real solution, The original reunion.
Those dumbfucks couldnt even get that right.

Easy, Panamark. I'm just being honest. It's just the facts, no matter how much we want to deny it.

Doesn't really matter if the tour does good or not-tours don't make money albums do; but even that is only in the short term. I mean besides Van Halen/Hagar, who really gives a f**ck about how much money they make. Like Dave says, I ain't in it, I don't care, and Van HAlen/Hagar just doesn't share the profits with me; The ultimate test is the TEST OF TIME. Van Halen has passed the test of time and Van Hagar just can't cut it; can't even come close.

And you know that sucks too cause song like Dreams and Right Now bear a message for the masses that deserves to be remembered. If Dave woulda sang 'em they would be. Now they are lost for all time; Okay, that does it. Now I am pissed.

Trust me. I agree with your logic.

But as I've said time and time again. I don't hate Dave cuz he doesn't presently work with Ed. And I don't hate Ed cuz he doesn't presently work with Dave.

                    I support both. REGARDLESS.

MTV, VH1, Much Music, Leno, Letterman, O Brien, Daly, The View, Carol Burnett show, BBC....LOL
What the real VAN HALEN did is VERY important........

How many Van Hagar classics are there? *Insert Chirping Crickets Here*

Honestly, I love Van Halen best when having a few beers. And if I had to pick 2 Van Hagar songs that I actually really love while drinking said beers they would be:

                        1. Humans Being
                        2. The Seventh Seal

Both are just great in my opinion. And although I like the Hagar era, when in a party mode, the songs don't stand up to the Six Pack (pun intended).

                          I cannot stand Humans Being.

That double tracked vocal, and those godawful lyrics totally ruin the rest of the track.

I don't know Warham. It's actually a double edged sword. I liked the double tracked vocals. I can't really understand the lyrics. And I always took satisfaction in it being the song that broke up the band.

However, when I bought the Video Hits Volume 1...I enjoyed the video. It looked like "tension" and it was the last time that Ed looked cool.

He talks about Christ and lemmings and shit. Typical lyrical subjects from Spam.

Hmmm...I do know the first lyric...but as for the rest it just sounds jumbled.

I'm not much for Jesus references.
