Van Halen 07/08 ( I Hope)

I live on a small island off europe .
We have at the moment , barring selling my kids on ebay , have no chance of seeing the mighty VAN HALEN on this tour.

It is class to listen to you people discuss the gigs and complain about the set list.
But it makes me a very jealous man.
Remember a year ago when any news on dave was worth a hundred threads and we would discus any VH trivia, think how far we have come.
Some of you guys are meeting up and actualy watching this for real , its a fuckingmazing !!

Any way you never know the uk might get a visit in 08.
Until then enjoy this its 23 years in the making and we should all be enjoying the moment.

Or I could wait till the dvd of the tour comes out and get realy hammered and pretend I was there .

Because it will reveal their limitations...

That, or it will be full of overdubbs and not really be live at all...

I don't need a perfect quality video of Edward not being able to nail the Running With The Devil solo, or Dave hitting one out of four scream attempts...

I think these are some of the same reasons we never got any live Classic Van Halen back in the day...

I love the video boots I have but the fact is the performances where not of "Rush" quality.

I would much rather see VH live -NOW- and have a live vid of current line up..


Get with the program fellas today is -The Deal- not yesterday.

I hope they do a world tour and everyone gets a chance to see how it's done .

I would rather have this than all the yesterday combined ,video wise and a live tour.

Exactly!! Specifically the note timings between Alex's kick and snare are square on.

That is something I'm not hearing in any of the current boots and videos from this year's tour.
