I've been to two shows, Greensboro and Rosemont. Greensboro was exactly as reported (above) with Eddie and Dave.
At the 10/16 Rosemont (Chicago) IL show...
Before Eddie's solo, the crowd chanted "Eddie, Eddie, Eddie..."
Eddie was visibly moved and began to tear up. They dropped the lights to allow him to regain his composure.
IMO these guys appreciate the outflow of support from the fans and it shows. Maybe just maybe the magic will continue through next year including additional dates and a new album <keeping fingers crossed>Comment

I just hope this is more than a nostalgia tour, because I think VH still has a few good years left. And, I hope they put out some nice stocking stuffers before the end of the yearComment

Most definitely at Greensboro, it was up on the big screen for all to us to see, there wasn't a dry eye in the fucking house....
At about 7:55 or so, after they hug, you can see Ed wipe his eyes.... Dave was choked up as well....

I don't know....Dave wasn't looking and sounding too good in 1996. He looks and sounds better now.Imagine if this would have happened in '96 when they were younger. as soon as they hit the stage in charlotte i shed some tears. the cleveland show i just smiled with joy when they came on. i ll be at both detroit area shows, i think im just going to party my ass off for these showsComment

when Ed came out in Rosemont to open YRGM...wow...... i just yelled as Loud as i could!!!!...Yea Ed teared up before his solo....unreal!!....these guys are going to be around awhile...IMOComment
