Alex is clearly not using a click, hense the speed up,
this is what happens to thousands of pub bands alll over the world.

I think it might sound a little faster because Alex is actually playing it closer to the way he used to live, with a lot of snare and tom fills that I think make it sound great!

He didn't do all of that stuff on earlier shows...

Plus, the speed of digital click track and backing tracks can be adjusted with the simple turn of a knob...

And along with those click tracks (which I'm pretty sure they use on every song) are pre-recorded bass and backup vocal tracks...
