Very badly out of tune guitar. This must be the famous jump vid that got some people here so out of whack. Let's remember this a live show, things like this happen. Would it have been better for Ed to get his tech to hand him another guiter, yes it would. He didn't and the song was played and everyone had a good time. Since i play guitar, especially with a floyd rose trem on them, i would say whatever song he had played before knocked it out of whack, nothing more.

The problem was not an out of tune guitar. The keyboard track was played at the wrong speed.

I think i will disagree here guys. The keyboard is not the fault, it is spot on. Ed's guitar is out of tune. What makes everyone think jump is a pre recorded track. I do believe that going back and looking at the high res pics, they clearly showed the keyboard under the stage. Even if there is nobody playing it and it is a track, that track wouldn't get out of tune or time, if anything it would skip.

It's not the keyboard..it's his guitar..broke a string that made his guitar flip outta tune..thats what it sounds like to me.
He broke a string and his whammy went up..LOL..fucked up the whole tuning.

He broke a string during his solo in...I think it was "Fly To The Rainbow"...and you listerally wouldn't have known unless you heard the single fluff note he played as he broke the string...

He has a different whammybar my friend..if his string breaks it doesn't go outta tune..Eddie uses the real shit..his whammy is floating..
Some whammybars detune when you break a string.

Uli's bar doesn't make the strings detune..It's a stuck bar.
Can some guitarbuilder back me up on this.

Playing guitar for over 3 decades it just soundsto me like he broke a string..or his shit went complete gaga..but I say its a string.

Uli's guitar doesnt have the stringholders(or whatever the fuck ye call it...see pic of eddie's guitar) at the head...ye know why?
Caus when his string breaks it doesn't detune.
