Oh man what a GREAT show! Wolf is surely feeling more comfortable on stage! Didn't hear to many deviations from ED's parts! That white guitar sure does sound nice! I was on the floor this time ... last Thanksgiving we was up the first level in the back. Much better sound on the floor! KyMani was still the opener!
The BLIMP was in the house this time! Wasn't there in Arizona! That was cool it came down right by our heads for a minute! Packed house on their feet for the whole show.
DAVE was the character he always is! During RWTD he had his top hat on crooked and was walking around like a cowboy using his fingers for pistols then he turned them into devil horns! Next the hat went down over his eyes and he was walking like he couldn't see for a minute ... just being DAVE! Ed played a bit with the drill. DAVE says "I sure can't beat that but I got this" as he breaks into a tongue twisting rant! The show seemed to end early. Not sure if songs were nixed or just played shorter but ED's solo was way longer than in Glendale!
Overall show .... 5 stars!
I also noticed they played up a back bend a bunch this time. Filled the whole screen with him bent over backwards ... he was there a little longer and when he stood back up seemed to step over and look back at that spot remembering what he just did shaking his head with satisfaction!
Sorry if I ain't much help on the guitar tech stuff! I did notice a few times they had to make an effort to bring a song back up to code! You know the times when afterwards they look at each other like ... "we almost crashed there!":p One note at the end of one of ED's solos was way flat and he made the face to prove it! The way I see it he meant it to be that way!
How was Ed's playing for his solo? Was he doing more then tapping/Cathedral? I really felt let down at the Lauderdale show after his solo... Oh - and did he blow the ICM solo?

It was really good, but a few problems. One, it seems like Ed can't play a song straight. He always loses the time or whatever and then improvs like crazy. Dave drops way too many lyrics too.
it seems like they could have practiced for more than 10 minutes beforehand, you know?

He seemed to be very positive! He stood up front most of it and sat down near the end. In Glendale he sat the whole time pretty much. I can't judge his playing to harshly not being a guitar player. He if I can so it this way was sounding a little Plantish for some of his solo! At one time he was knocking on his guitar like someones front door making some cool sounds! Right before that he was tweeking something on the backside making it squeel!! :D One solo he played laying on his back about half way up the ramp with Wolf a little farther upo the ramp watching!
