The old Las Lunas home in Pasadena is for rent.

Someone has fixed up the old VH home in Pasadena but can't sell it, so now it's a rental. This is where Eddie and Alex grew up and lived before they hit it big.

No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

I would pay that if the band would stop by for drinks once in a while.

Pretty cool. I wonder why the real estate agent doesn't mention the Van Halen's as sort of a "fun fact" or something.

Just think, some of the greatest guitar riffs in history were probably written in that house.

Someone posted a photo of an old Walter Mitty's contract signed by Alex Van Halen, 1882 Las Lunas, Pasadena on the internet a while back. I wish I knew where it was.

There are also some old pictures of the house floating around. It was blue and white when the Van Halens lived there and it had a white stucco chimney. Then the chimney was torn down and it looks like a new masonery one has been put up.

From the kitchen photos it looks like the old plaster has been replaced by drywall. It looks like someone was going to flip it and then got stuck with it.

I say we buy it and invite the band over for a backyard party like the old days.

You severely overestimate the intelligence of the average real estate agent.

Thats not the Van Halen's old house. That house up for rent is #1882. The VH's lived at #1881.
