I don't know if any of you have heard mp3's of the recent Van Fagar shows but I just have to say WOW... Hagar butchers every roth era song... in unchained "im crossing over" instead of "im stepping over" and during panama... "shes flying, im flying" (and many, many more) like seriously does he even know the lyrics of these songs?? just another reason why Hagar should never have the HONOR of singing roth songs. The way he sang those songs were just shit, it was a disgrace and totally disrespectful to what was the Mighty Van Halen... at least he stopped saying "got my ASS against the record machine". Not only did Hagar fuck up the roth songs, he fucked up his own material! during Humans Being he just kind of sings the wrong words then trails off into gibberish... this guy is fucking shit... which brings me to my point... wouldn't you guys agree that if Van Halen couldn't hook up with roth for a tour dont you think they'd be better off with Michael Anthony singing lead vocals as opposed to Slappy Gaygar? I sure think so... "Somebody Get Me A Doctor" with Anthony on lead is pretty damn good... he's not the greatest singer in the world, but still I think if they could have gone with anyone after the roth possibility was ruled out, I think for sure Michael Anthony would have done a much better job... Of course I'm not thinking logicially in the minds of Van Halen, but its just my opinion.

VH as a trio would not cut it. VH with HAGAR doesn't cut it. BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Back in the early days they had Roth join the band because of his onstage presence and charisma. Anthony and Hagar, and for that matter ED and Mike are boring as hell. This is why they are not selling out shows. The entertainment portion of the band left back in 85. It's like The Stones with out Mick or Aerosmith without Steven Tyler. Both charismatic singers who compliment the musicians in their bands. With DLR back in the band you get great high energy music and an entertaining stage show.Comment
