    DLR gave me free tickets!!

    On Oct 6 2007 Saturday afternoon I was standing behind the register at my store when I saw a guy outside peering in the window looking at some items on display.
    He had a baseball cap pulled down tight and sunglasses.

    Took me a second to figure out who it was, once I did I took off in hot pursuit.

    It was David Lee Roth!

    Talked to him for about 15 minutes and he was as funny and animated as ever. It was GREAT. He was totally ON and it felt like I was being treated to a private stand up comedy performance. (His bit about the U.S. prison system was hilaroius!)

    Then he offered to put me on the guest list for Sunday's Van Halen concert.

    Needless to say, the tickets were awesome and the show itself was great. I swear at one piont during the show he looked up at me (the seats were really close to the stage) and recognized me. I like to think so anyway!!

    Good thing I just happened to be looking out the window as he was looking in!

    WOW!
