        What about Nick Raskulinecz?

The dude's work roster includes the Foo Fighters, Coheed And Cambria, and Rush.
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

I'd have to vote for Teddy - I think he could really help Eddie & Dave put together some amazing songs.... I'm not in the loop with modern day producers... may have something to do with the total lack of rock music in the mainstream.

I sincerely hate what you have done to this site. One post...that's all it took. People are already crying in the fetal position. Even me. I'm laying here right now on my side...trying in vain to see the monitor....crying.

            Please leave....I'm begging you!
I guess you don't know a joke when you hear one (funny or not).
A nd yes I remember Aldo Nova as a musician ( he played at a Rose bowl show with Journey Loverboy and B O C I saw in 82).
I was not aware he was a producer ( but I thought he sucked as a musician).
I hope nobody else tries to make any attempts at humor.

First off we really don't know the legal agreements that made this reunion possible.
Is Dave an equal partner or an employee?
Does he really have a say in what happens?
Or does the exsisting agreement only cover the tour?
If a new agreement has to be made for an album Dave would
probably be in a better position than he was before the tour.
The sisters probably could have gotten another singer and made another shitty album but as much as everybody here loves Dave
his carreer wasn't going the way I'm sure he wanted it.
Right before the tour he was playing in small clubs around L A.
Now he's back on top .
Some people want Templeman to produce , but alot of people agree
Van Halens first few albums were great and then they started getting
              mediocre.
              Why?
              Templeman?
              The band?
              Is their really a market for a new V H album ?
Or is the success of this tour due to alot of middle aged folks trying
              to recapture their youth?
I haven't been to any of the shows so I don't know .
Is their many young people going,or a lot of graybeards?

Now there's a name I wouldn't have thought of, but would probably a be a good one...

It wouldn't hurt to have a strong producer (assured, not afraid to speak his mind) and record it somewhere other than 5150. Agree that Ed (and Dave, truth be told) would benefit from such a situation.

They can demo the stuff at 5150, but when it comes time to record, they should do it in a studio they're paying for; this also decreases the likelihood that Ed will futz around for ages simply because he can and there's no home-court advantage nonsense.

And new music SHOULD be the next step, because the reunion bit playing the classics is already old news. Like, okay, you guys pulled it together and played the old tunes. NOW let's see what you got!
