Able Richardson, a 16-year old boy who lives in San Bernardino County, California, is in dire need of help. At 6’2” tall, he currently weighs approximately 520 pounds – and that’s no typo! While Able is trying to lose weight on his own, it continues to be a struggle as the effort, as you can imagine, is nothing short of monumental. Simply put, Able needs an intervention before it’s quite literally too late.



Louie’s Kids (www.louiskids.org), a non-profit organization that offsets costs to help morbidly obese children get on a healthy track, is leading the charge to help Able. Specifically, Louie’s Kids has set its sights on sending Able to The Academy of the Sierras (AOS), the boarding school component of Wellspring camps, for at least a year. This Academy is dedicated to helping teens who are struggling with a difficult weight condition, while also maintaining (and potentially improving) each child’s academic standing.



With Able’s circumstance being particularly dire, he needs a full year at the Academy to achieve the amount of weight-loss he requires. The cost? A full $31,000 (which reflects a reduced price offered by the Academy to help Able)! Although Able’s health insurance actually covers extreme - and potentially life-threatening - Bariatric surgery (which he does not want), it will not cover a natural intervention such as AOS. Joe Lynn Turner has a decent enough voice but he looks like a
barbie doll.
When I saw Rainbow back in 81 he did a good job on the songs that he had sang on the studio album.
But couldn't compare to Dio or Bonnett on the older stuff.

What's with the fuck Dave bullshit ?
If anything he has more than held up his end by just keeping
his mouth shut off stage.
Even if this is it for V H , I think Dave has proven he still has something and should come away from this in a better position
financualy and in the respect dept.
If he is backed by competent musicians and songwriters his
solo carreer could come close to his V H carreer.
Robert Plant can make good music and headline shows without
Jimmy Page ( not as good as with him , but still good).
No disrepect to Dave but his previous solo work was not even
close to his work with C V H.
