Wow, you are spending alot of wasted time NOT seeing a Band that you don't want to see, but you want to see Eddie. Guess what Lou, maybe when you are a 50 year old fuck like me, you can see Eddie in 27 years from now when Eddie is 76 and playing "Big Bad Bill" in a Walmart in Philly.

Why don't you go and see Van Hagar and wear an eyepatch that cuts out Sammy. If you wait much longer alcoholism is bound to catch up to them.

Just for your edification guwapo fuck nuts, in 1986 I negotiated with Pete Angelus to get Mr. Roth into one of our Club Med commercials for Canada. In 1988 I then negotiated with Eddie Anderson to use one of Dave's classics for a print ad for a financial company.

The headline was "Whoever said money doesn't buy happiness, didn't know where to go shopping". So eat your sheep dung, Mr. Fucking Know-It-All

Hey, listen, I'm just sick of being called names by people who should respect their elders.

I'm sure you're a nice guy guwapo, but I was called a 50 year old fuck by someone here and you NEVER KNOW who you are dealing with. As WE ALL KNOW Mr. Roth will be 50 this Oct.10th. He was fun to hang with in Bora Bora too.

But I'm still going to see Van Hagar in two weeks, because I love their tone, particularly when I've had some "Uncle Jack"

Are we still working on that? I haven't seen anything on it as of late. It was BT's thing after all. With all the people here claiming connections, I think it would be worth it to have someone (maybe someone FEMALE) speak with Dave personally. We could then host a DRL Convention. I spoke with a few hotels in Vegas about what it would cost to rent out space for the concert-and there is no rental as long as the space correlates to number of rooms reserved. 100 rooms= convention space to house 200 people or something along that line. All we need is to get a reasonable price from Dave instead of the $100,000.00 last quoted.

I don't see your age listed. How did the guy know your 50?

I want to see Classic Van Halen. Van Hagar is no comparison to Van Halen. Make no mistake about where I stand on that issue. Spam means nothing to me... but honestly at $4.08 I would go see them. This may be the last chance you get to see Ed alive, let alone playing anything.

I think I remember the post where he was called a 50 year old fuck and it was simply making a reference to a certain generational attitude prevalent among members of the Classic VH era as opposed to the younger members of the Van Hagar era.

Whoever it was (Mr. Diverticulitis) I believe, how can you argue with people who are the same age as the people you all worship. I was there in the beginning. When 23 yr.old people call me out, I wonder where their reference is coming from.

Dave, Eddie and Mike are very close to 50. Alex is over that age. Spam is close to 60.
So what? Some of us are in good condition and have experienced life and are still kicking ass. My generational attitude is very sound. Classic Van Halen rocks, but Van Hagar is still a chance to see the band that is Van Halen (i.e Eddie and Alex)

Each singer they "hire" knows what I'm talking about.
