Stainless steel frets aside, I doubt, regardless of what Ed and his latest side kick Chip say that there are any real significant differences between the Peavey and EVH Wolfgangs; except for the price.

Thinner neck profile, 5 layer bindings, no-friction volume/tone pots, the finest cable jack in the industry and the coup-de-crap... unfinished neck, pickup and component routes, that let the wood breathe...

That'll get the cork-sniffers excited!!
