NO he didn't do that. He's probably got 200 guitars up there in every configuration - take him an hour to bolt a neck onto a body and wire up a pickup and strings "Here's a guitar better than that Peavey, one of my originals"

Contractor I knew did stucco on the place, he said they had to move piles and piles of guitar bodies laying around so they could even get thru the doorway. One pile of bodies, in my place, is about 30 high so figure out how many hundred a couple hours' work moving bodies around avoiding scratches adds up to.

NO, Ed didn't give up his namesake vintage: he gave up somebody else's bones "Hey Harley, send me one of the new ones for my hip Doc as a gift. And I need a case for it too."

He's such a good person to give his Doctor a guitar he didn't have to pay for. EVH, champ of the day, one day ten years ago RAH RAH. Cheap fucker.
