Humiliated? Absolutely not. Having to swallow a bit of pride and keep his ego/mouth in check? Yes.

Dave made gobs of money, was the center of attention on the stage every night, played to sold out arenas for the first time in a while, and felt the love that was rightfully due to him from thousands of screaming & crying fans. That's not being humiliated by any stretch of the imagination. (Especially since he looked & sounded better than he had for a long time)

As for singing a Hagar tune, ugh, the brothers realized on the 1998 & 2004 tours that the majority of people really wanted to hear the 6-pack material. Most successful (dollars & sell out wise) tour of VH history. Rave reviews from the average fan, newspapers, magazines, etc... Actually still getting along at the tours end. Nearly a year after the tour ended still no harsh words from either side about the other. Sounds to me like they got it a lot more right than the previous two tours. Maybe not a home run, but I'd rule it a solid double with a chance at 3rd.
