The old vbulletin software could not be updated because of all the hacks. It gradually became more and more unstable and insecure as it was four years out of date and the server would no longer carry it. You don't recall having problems posting or even making the page load?

Of course. So updating the whole thing took so long?

Don´t take that as criticism, it´s a private site and I perfectly understand that people have better/more important things to take care of.

They had to purchase all new software, figure out how to convert the old database (which was sort of a bitch I think but I really don't know), and find a new server. All while the site owner is deployed to Italy as part of the US Army forces with NATO...

I don´t hate no Jews. I couldn´t care less if you believe in Spaghetti Monsters, aliens that´ll come to the rescue or some hate-filled schizophrenic sky-god! What I do hate is people that think some 5000 year old story-book entitles them to coop up a million and then some people in a human zoo and treat/injur/kill them at whim! And, in doing so cashing in 14000 Yankee Dollars per Israeli capita per year from the US of A!
