The publisher put out a whole series of similar paperbacks. Still got the U2 book they did. Like you said, it was pretty good info for the time.

I remember watching that Letterman interview when it first ran and being annoyed with Dave...Letterman that is. That guy isn't a very good interviewer, he is more of a wind up merchant in search of a punchline.

Roth spent his whole birthday flying from the East coast to the West and back in between shows for a 5 minute interview.

          Can't knock his work ethic.

Speaking of Circus, i still have a copy of the 1986 Circus Year end awards issue where Roth racked up on several honors including comeback of the year.
For ELVIS, there is plenty of Dokken in there too.

It's actually already posted. I did a search of the site and found it a couple of days ago.

Kinda funny, Dave asking Glen Campbell if he remembers those Beach Boys records..... Campbell probably played on some of them.

Patrick Swayze rockin' the power mullet. Must have been right about the time he was making "The Outsiders" ?

He DID absolutely record with them, and he also toured with them in place of Brian Wilson...

if anyone else DL'ed the DLR Media Appearances collection, it's on there.

i just watched it, other than Dave's Carol Channing-esque grin i can't see what Kuntie could gripe about.

                            Jay Leno

I `ve never seen the 1995, Jay Leno interview. I have heard it mentioned, recently, quite a few times, and people say Dave was given a hard time by Jay Leno.
A comment on tis thread said that Dave tried too hard in that interview. so I know the video is eventful. I know something kicked off.

Kinda interesting that Dave and Glen seemed to fit well together in that cheesey entertainer kinda way.

Who would have known Dave would dip into Campbell's realm 20 years later with his blue-grass VH venture. Shame he didn't get him as a guest spot on that record.
