Lance Armstrong has done the NY Marathon (twice), in addition to the Boston Marathon. He started his athletic career as a swimmer and was a top ranked amateur triathlete. It is rumored he may participate in triathlons again in 2010. So, he does do more than ride bicycles.

I think Dave just likes to keep busy whether dabbling in mountain climbing, shooting, running, being an emt, etc. Dave is not just going to sit at his mansion, enjoy his money and fade away. If he can't be in the studio or on tour, he has got to be doing something. I admire that about him.
