I'm lovin' the second one - listen for answers to the "demeaning to women" issue - and "will you ever get married" issue..... Kathy Lee in her infinite stupidity.

          Oh dear.

              Oh dear.

"You won't find one sexist lyric, you won't find one victimizing, sort of, thinking, you won't find that victimization tact of thought."

"A little more to the right"

"Creature from the sea and it looks to me like she'd like to fool around"

"Look I'll pay you for it WTF"

"Now Jamie's been in love before, and she knows what love is for. It should mean, you know, a little more than a one night stand"

"She wants to send him a letter just to try and make herself feel better. It says 'Gimme a call sometime" but she knows what that'll get her...."

                "Oh la la"

"I love the way the line runs down the back of your stockings."

"Take off the fat dress and get on the mattress"

No, no victimization there. Sadly, this is what drew me to the band, so what does that say about me?

                Oh dear.

Well, Dave sees all this as part of men and women engaging as equals...

None of those excerpts you mentioned is denigrating to women. This is denigrating women:

"tricks with fruit are kinda cute, I bet you keep your pussy clean" (Mick Jagger / Stones, the song is 'Star Star' aka 'Starfucker').

I think you can accuse Dave of having a keen interest in women, no doubt - but there's zero victimization stuff. Compare AC/DC or Scorpions for example, where it sometimes seems that its the whole deal.

Even 'House of Pain', which seems like an S/M scenario - listen to it. The guy is the victim, not the woman.

I loved Dave's response to this kind of accusation back in the 80s - which was to say, look at somebody like Pat Benatar and her song 'Love is a Battlefield'. How does she demonstrate women's victimization in the video for the song (which is about men v. women, obviously)? She takes a few steps back from some bad guy and ... starts shaking her tits. Thereby, as Dave said, setting women's lib back ten years!
