Face it sheep, most people do not want to see Sam in VH. Factor in the freebie/comp tickets/radio station promo tickets and the actual paid numbers slip lower and lower and lower...

Do you mean Continental Airlines Arena at the Meadowlands? That is a different story. I was talking about Giants Stadiam, which is where I saw them last...on the Monster of Rock tour.

Once I learned that they weren't playing MSG and saw the ticket prices, I lost interest. When I heard you could buy premium tickets, I was prepared to pay $150-$200 for a chance to meet the band and have the VIP treatment. When I heard you wouldn't meet the band, I lost all interest. I am a diehard DLR fan, but unlike others here I like Sammy. I like him more solo. There was no way I was going to pay $90 for crap seats to see this tour.. Maybe if they had a new album that was at least as good as 5150....but not now. I would pay $150 for VIP access if and when DLR comes to NYC...even in a club.

3 times? I don't think so, unless they were playing giants stadium. I thought they were playing in the contential airlines arena which seats around 18, 000

According to Ray Luzier's site he is supposed to play in NYC Sept 16. If so, I'm going to check it out. I missed a Pougkeepsie show last year and heard it was good, so I'm not missing it next time around.

Just let that bank account empty out a little and then he'll call Dave.

Only i hope at that time Dave says "No Thanks"...
                          EVH is NOT LOSING MONEY.

                          They got a guarantted amount.

                          they bought the tour.

That's how it works now for the most part.

The problem is that they just don't know when to call it quits. And then they insult the fans by finally putting out KISS ALIVE 4 and it's with a dam orchestra and no ACE. That was a real insult.

I'm wondering if a Dave reunion would work this late in the game. After 96, many fans lost hope. It's almost like "why bother". But Eddie Van Heineken said it himself. "I don't care if I sell one record or a million". Here's to ya Ed. Rip us off.

If Edwardo didn't care about records sales Gary Cherone would still be the lead singer EVH is so full of it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
