I always thought Simon Townsend should have put a band together with Chris Jagger and Michael McCartney just for the Hell of it. Maybe Livingston Taylor too?

None of them were able to launch careers from under their famous brothers' shadows individually, but a band made up of all of them probably would have gone platinum out of the gate, just based on the curiosity factor alone.

Next year will be some lame country band and then 2012 in Indy will probably be John Cougar, whom I'm a fan of.

Ozzy sounded pretty good at the recent BlizzCon (World of Warcraft convention). The poll lists Santana, but he played halftime at the Raiders/Bucs Super Bowl. There's also the Eagles...but another snoozefest. AC/DC would be great. But my vote goes to VH. Hell, even Men At Work would be better than some of the other choices there.

The Police? They might do a one off type thing. I don't know.

I've seen him do worse but for me its not just the dodgy singing.

For some reason his band are mediocre too.

Incidently I see that after 24 years the search for a guitarist that can play the outro solo to BATM continues...

True. Oz is waaay past his expiry date. He has clearly lost all sense of choosing an original guitarist. Hired guns and that's it. His most innovative work was with Randy.
Most of his stuff is disposable product.

As for B.A.T.M. , I doubt even Jake could pull it off antmore. Rumour has it that he's been a Meth addict for a number of years now. Hence his reluctance to get off his ass a make a go of music anymore. Apparently the death of Ray Gillen started him in his downward spiral...
