Ok so I'm sitting on the couch last night watching one of my favorite shows. Anthony Bourdain No Reservations. I love it. I love everything about that show and this particular episode was in Panama I have not seen it before. Fuckin cool drink me a cocktail and watch a little fish being fried. But wait WTF? Just go to about 6:25.

The VHND featured a story about this earlier in the year when the show was first broadcast. The article featured this same clip, but edited down (naturally, the Travel Channel people had the clip pulled from circulation). Tony doesn't much care for Van Hagar, yet another reason to love the guy. His books, particularly Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly are hilarious, insightful and more than a little bit frightening, as they accurately portray just what goes on behind the swinging doors in restaurants.

Get his "Les Halles" cookbook. A good read and a damn good French bistro cookbook to boot. "Kitchen Confidential" will open up your eyes also.
