As a male heterosexual I have absolutely no interest in musical theatre.

Music Theater, when produced for good or truth, can be a dynamic and compelling medium.
Mixing symphony and story line ables a communicator to communicate more than words alone could ever accomplish.

Though this film production is extraordinarily weak compared to the stage production.
It is one example of how a story is able to be told with a stronger communicative expression through the use of Musical Theater.
