I just got through looking at Billboard for the issue dated July 10, 2004 and of the 35 concert grosses that were listed there were ABSOLUTELY NONE for VHagar. F Mac again made the list with a couple of shows that drew less than 10,000 people and Aerosmith made the list with a show that had a little over 11,000. VHagar is either not selling tix for this tour or they're hiding the fact that they are by not reporting the figures (which makes no fucking sense--if your tour is doing good business you want people to know about it). I keep seeing figures like 13,000 for this show, 15,000 for that show but it doesn't make sense. I can not fathom a reason why they would not report these attendance figures if they are true. Maybe they are not.

Yup. I never believed that crap myself. Plus, VH seems to have to give 'em away to get a lot of people to go.

The whole "reunion" has been a joke. They tried to create false hype for ticket sales with the "All Access" ticket promo and then they tried to create more hype by releasing a single for a day and then taking it off the air. Whoever their management is, they are pulling the strings behind the scenes. If DLR was in the band, none of this would be necessary. The hype and excitement would be genuine and HUGE.Comment

Roth isn't on tour right now. You try and cover up their failure with the fact that Dave toured for his album already, here and over seas.

First, Van Halen make the BILLBOARD charts with It's About Time and you guys say it is propaganda forced shit that ClearChannel paid for to make the band look better than they actually were. Then a report from THE EXACT FUCKIN SAME WEBSITE reports on how the tour is doing. First of all that fuckin sheet only lists concerts that were REPORTED. Second, gslinger, a favorite member of many on this board, has already said that Billboard has had their head in their ass on these attendance numbers anyways.Comment

If they have reported some, they will the rest. I don't believe that if they reported shows already, that they won't continue.
What can't be denied is:
LSD doesn't want to debate that fact, he wants to bash Dave. He wants to cover up this disappointing tour by running Dave down. Ticket sales are not going well at all and they are lowering them in many places already. Throwing in free food even.
The reviews from the newspapers where the band is playing are stating that the band is not drawing well, and don't really look or sound good with some exceptions of course.
