Ed would've been happy. It would've reminded him of the easy days of "Van Halen" when he only had to strum chords to write songs and not have to work hard .

Ed looks happy and healthy. Interesting they say that the 5150 III is used by country and blues players. I just started taking my 5150 II out to gigs because it was versatile. I think the 5150 III has a better clean channel and a separate EQ but it's not that far off from the 5150II. They also sound fine at low volumes. I've never had a problem with my amp at all and it's had a lot of use.
