Ed would use that Strat for rythum stuff. I remember him saying he uses an old Strat for some rythum parts. He's not playing that for the full on brutal force. That would be the Destroyer and if he needed a Whammy, the Frankenstrat. The Destroyer was used for most the WAC songs and not the Frankenstrat. Ed does like humbucker with mismatched coils because they cut through and don't sound muddy and the harmonics cut through. Ed wanted chunk but he also wanted single note dynamics and harmonics. A humbucker with uneven coil wounds will give that to you.

Yeah probably. One of those multi-purpose rooms. I wish there were teenage pics of Dave out there. Other than the elementary school class pic he had in his book, I can't think of any childhood pics of him.
