All seriousness aside.......wouldn't a statue be more appropriate in Cali or even NYC.

Dave acknowledges here's from Indiana but really he embraced and epitomizes the California lifestyle, in much the same way as John Mellencamp does for Indiana, Dave's done for Cali.

If you're gonna waste your time with erecting a statue to Dave, do it where he lives not where he was born.
