Yeah, the site was about due for yet another "VH III Doesn't Suck. Seriously, It Really Doesn't" post. It's been almost two months since the last one, yet the content is always predictably the same. And just as predictably, hopelessly incorrect.

I can't really pass judgement on Van Hagar, having heard literally only Van Halen I, Van Halen II and 1984, but I like Right Now. And Sammy's solo album Nine on a Ten Scale has A COUPLE of halfway decent songs. Call me a purist, but I like Diamond Dave better from what little I've heard of Sammy's work, although arguably that's an unfair comparison seeing as Nine on a Ten Scale was a solo album whereas VHI, VHII and 1984 are all Van Halen-as-a-band albums.
Just my two cents. It probably ain't even worth two cents here.
I have a very belligerent enthusiasm or an enthusiastic belligerence. I’m an intellectual slut.

                    Brethren and Sistren,

I was watching Season 1 of The X-Files (Episode: Ghost In The Machine) and Scully was putting bits and pieces of this guy's various recordings together to recreate an automated recording at his company's building to try to implicate him in a nefarious plot to kill the greedy CEO who had taken over and destroyed the heart and soul of the company (Eurisko, meaning "to discover" in Greek) for profit. Anyhow, I think this is what the 'Boys can do with previously released Van Halen material, especially for Mikey's missing background vocals... as for bass parts, EVH can simply play those as he's always done since Fair Warning...

My hope is that Auto-Tune is used throughout and to keep with the times, a good cover version of Rebecca Black's Friday would be apropos... hey Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert souped it up so why not...

And Gary doesn't get enough credit, but I won't hijack this thread any longer...

                    That is all.

                      VAiN,

I tried to thank you multiple times, but alas the system only allows one thanks per person... I actually laughed at something other than a rambling Sesh non-sequitor for the first time in who knows how long thanks to you. Keep up the excellent work!

For me the best and most realistic appearance of Mulder and Scully was in the Simpsons©™®.

Mulder: Look at this, Scully: there has been another unsubstantiated UFO sighting in the heartland of America. We've got to get there right away.

Scully: Well, gee Mulder, there's also this report of a shipment of drugs and illegal weapons coming into New Jersey tonight.

Mulder: I hardly think the FBI is concerned with matters like that.

I blame the 1990s X-Files for damaging the brains of a generation who now spend far too much time on the internet posting nonsensical conspiracy theories built on false memories which were actually just the result of watching a dumbish TV show while smoking dope through elaborate bongs.

Friday evening television has sucked since FOX cancelled "The Adventures Of Brisco County Jr." as a lead-in and moved the X-Files to Sunday nights. Bruce Campbell is still my hero, though. And Kelly Rutherford remains as sultry as ever.

Evil Dead II may contain the single best acting performance ever. Bruce Campbell rules! Still in my top 3 movies of all time. I even have the Ash action figure with a tiny leather Necronomicon, shotgun & chainsaw.

Bubba Hotep was pretty damn genius as well.
