Wow, Hagar ruined the show tonight

Wow, I just got back from the Detroit show, and I'm very disappointed. That tard hagar ruined everything. First, he butchered Jump! Then he butchered Unchained and Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love. He absolutely butchered all of Dave's songs. Me and other Roth fans chucked our beers and booed. Whenever spammy butchered a Roth tune, I screamed, "THAT IS NOT YOUR SONG!" And this fat cow of a lady was sitting in front of me, she must have been at least 3 hundo, said, "He does it better." I was enraged. I wanted to punch her in her fat face for saying that. I went to the show wearing my black Ole No. 1 Diamond David Lee Roth tee that resembles the JD logo. I got so many props from real fans, DLR fans for it. I paid to see Eddie, Alex and Michael. Eddie, Alex and Mike kicked ass though!!! Eddie had like a 13 minutes solo. He is the greatest. Get this, some fans near the stage threw their stupid edited shirts for spammy to wear on stage and banners, and one was all about him, like some stupid crap like we love you or something really stupid, but someone threw a great banner that said "You suck Hagar! Diamond Dave is Van Halen!" It was awesome! Well, I just wanted to let you all know that I was incredibly disgusted with the show tonight, the only great part was Eddie, Alex and Mike.

I couldn't do it man. I heard Drew & Mike giving away free tickets to the 18 caller while I was driving to work in Plymouth and.....I just looked at my cell phone a laughed! "Fuck", I thought, "I wouldn't go to that show for FREE even if I had a gun to my head." I bought all the VH recordings up to F.U.C.K, and a friend of mine gave me Balance...which sucked! After the 1996 reunion debacle with Dave I vowed to NEVER GIVEN THE VAN HALEN SISTERS ANOTHER NICKEL OF MY MONEY AGAIN! Unless it was for a reunion show with Diamond Dave! And I will buy ANYTHING that Dave puts out, regardless, just to show him my support! FUCK VAN HAGAR!!!!!

Amen man. Drew and Mike kick ass. Best show, ever. Also, 106.7 sucks, I hate them. They are all over spammy's tiny balls, it's nauseating.

Hey Matt, I agree with your stance, as do many others.

I will not buy this Best of Both Worlds (or whatever it's called now), or attend any Van Hagar gig if they tour Down Under.

I've had enough of Sammy slagging off the original era, and in particular Dave. So no more money from me. I guess hitting them in the pocket is the only way to register a protest, other than forums like this.
