I was listening to the US festival boot this weekend with my two young sons. I really shouldn't because of some of the profanity coming from Roth's mouth. But, it cracks me up and my boys know better.

Anyway, we had some friends over for a barbeque yesterday and my youngest goes over to one of our friends and says "I'm gonna kick your ass man!" Just like Roth said when he wanted the guy to give him more feedback during Ice Cream Man.

My wife, not pissed at all, says OK no more Roth for awhile!

Heh heh cool. I posted a million years ago about how my 6 year old saw the Van hagar promo picture outside of the HP Pavilion here in SJ, and commented about how "that's stupid"....and "That's not Dave". I know one day his tastes will change, but at least for now I'd rather have him walking around the house singing "I'm the One", over his Mom's pop and Creed BS.

LMAO!!! It's a good thing you didn't show your boys a hagar video before having a BBQ with friends or they would have been raiding their plates, stealing and eating all of the food instead!!!

I don't know how old your kids are man but I would have waited for them to see the classic performance of VH live at the US Festival 83 until they were about 11/12 years old!!!

I am 36 and I was dating a 25 year old woman last year. She didn't know much about VH. I let her borrow BOV 1 and I didn't tell her that I was pro ROTH, or try to sway her in any way. After about a week, I asked her what tune's she really dug. And she said the DLR material kicked the shit out of Spam era VH. I am pretty convinced that the majority of planet earth prefers DLR era VAN HALEN.
