Even that wasn't as bad as this debacle, which pretty much reminds one of the Blue Oyster Cult classic "Joan Crawford Has Risen From The Grave."
Seriously, this is soooooo bad. I'm a graphic artist/art director and I would NEVER let something like this get past me... How it made the cover of an international publication is well beyond me.

Well, the Geico cavemen were fairly popular at that time, so maybe...
Come to think of it, the makers of the Guitar Hero game didn't do much better for Ed in that department, either. Who knows, maybe it was part of a plot to exact some revenge on him. Stranger things have happened. Like seeing Wolfgang stuffed into the outfit Ed wore on the cover of 1984 and the "Panama" video while seeing Ed appearing to audition for one of the before mentioned Geico commercials.
Am I missing something here? Look at the page with the half stacks - it's cheaper to buy the head & cab separately versus together? Am I getting this correct?

Not to get too OT but how much of the DLR army is in IT or related fields?
I forgot about the guitar world disaster.. what a fucking shame!
although, Little Texan: great job! I'm convinced it may well be the original source image
hey everyone - i've been around alot, just not alot to say - for this thing, of course, i knew this was THE place to look for a thread on. also been waiting for the new album, etc etc.
this band has been dicking us around for years, so hopefully we're all so used to it by now that we can just focus on getting excited for whenever they release it.
hadnt seen a recent pic of evh in awhile so that was kind of cool... gave the magazine to my son, "the next generation" of vh fan as they say. he enjoyed it, too.
i'll try to post more... i have been checking in alot.
Nice that he is keeping on with the gear whore program.
I did not get into him because he was a fucking salesman!!!!
I got into him because he is a fucking guitarist!!!
HE NEEDS TO FUCKING GET THE FUCK OUT ON THE ROAD AND TOUR!
Exactly! If I want to be sold to by a rock star I will look to Gene Simmons, not Eddie Van Halen. Leave the selling to Gene and get the fucking album and tour going Ed.
The pop up "tilt" feature on the 2x12 cab is a nice feature allowing you to angle it up at you without needing an amp stand. Give Edward credit, there are some innovative ideas coming out of that skull occasionally.
I can only laugh at the alleged credit Ed steals for what's being passed off as innovative... Fender was marketing "tilt" featured cabinets back in the 60's. So no... I ain't givin SpEd any dang credit...
