No anger or negativity here, friend. Just sarcastic wit for everyone's reading pleasure. If you spent more time around here you might understand that. But you don't. You're one of the "hit and run" gang that only shows up here when news is bubbling in Van Halen land, and when you get a little nudge from some of the regulars around here, you immediately get defensive.
You, steve, are a member of what I call the "2004's"....which is a group of people who all piled in here during the "Sammy cash grab reunion sham tour." Then you disappeared, and probably came back around 2007/2008 during the tour with DLR. Then you disappeared again until just recently when chatter picked up about the new record. Guys like you are easy to spot. Members for 7 years, but have only a few hundred posts to their name.
What you fail to understand is that there's a large and dedicated fan base that is here all the time to talk with each other, regardless of what's going on up on Howdy Doody mountain. So wash the sand out of your vagina and have some fun with the rest of us.
Or, just assume your fallback position...which will likely be to post a bunch while the news is buzzing, post some more after the record release and during the tour, and then disappear again when all is said and done.
