Ray, people will come Ray. They'll come to the Arena for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll turn up in the parking lot not knowing for sure why they're doing it, barely seeing the heat coming, easing the seat all the way back. They'll arrive at the gates as raucous as junior high kids discovering they've got a substitute teacher for the day, longing for the past. Of course, we won't mind if you look around, you'll say. It's only $65 per person. They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it because they don't care, it's Van Fucking Halen. And they'll walk out to the seats; in old concert shirts and new, with a glass of beer and a joint on a perfect nught. They'll find they have reserved seats somewhere near the seat, where they sat when they were around for when the REAL BAND was around and cheered their heroes. And they'll watch the band play and it'll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters. The brown sound will be so thick they'll have to brush them away from their faces. People will come Ray. The one constant that has been lacking here for the past 20 years? Kickass Rock N'Roll. Music has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But Van Halen has marked the time. Roth, Eddie and his striped guitar it's a part of our past and our future, Ray. It reminds of us of all that Sammy Hagar fucking sucks, and that Van Halen could be again good again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.
