More than Van Halen

I can understand a wont for the "old" Van Halen , who by the way dave named. What I don't see is the spirit of that and that is Dave. I have seen no threads about any of the ARMY emulating or being enthused for what that stands for. if I was given a day to jump into some ones skin and be that cat it would be DLR. Throw out the cash, the pelt etc and I would still want to do it. I have taken up so many interests because of the "toast Master" Mt. Climbing, Martial Arts, Biking, Kayaking etc. I truly believe what he says that "knowledge is sacred" and to live every day like it was your last, " How valuable is 5 seconds?, just ask the guy who was almost hit by a motorcycle:... So lets stop with the Dave vs. Sammy vs. Halen it is a not contest with a knock out there is only one clear winner with his unique sense of life still in the forefront. SO why don't we emulate that? Lets here about some one taking up helicopter lessons, or learning to be an emt, or taking up ice climbing or just giving someone a cigarette in a bar and then buying the drunk bastard a drink

I hear ya man. The spirit is here, its just that we have had to endure the farcical debacle that is Van Hagar. Look deeper, you will see Dave is alive and well here.

Problem is you can only sit back on a site dedicated to classic VH and DLR and see so much sheepshit for so long before you gotta set the record straight.

Personally would love nothing more than to see these pro Van Hagar posts fade away, but some dumb fuckers got a taste for abuse. Must be why so many waboritas come here.

Either that or it ain't no fun at the links.
