It could have been. I've looked and looked for the damned thing at Youtube, and I can't seem to find it. I'm not sure if it was part of Ed's solo or Alex's, but between the two of them, there about a 1000 videos to go through.

Yep, it was during Eddie's guitar solo at the US Festival.

Thanks man. I was just about to post that it was from the "SGMAD" medley, as I finally found a horrible version of it from Caracas in 1983. Don't ask me where Mike Anthony is on this version.

I guess I'm thinking about Panama...you can hear the first part of it at one point of the show.

Yeah, at the 3:45 mark of the video Va posted...kinda sounds like Panama.

I heard they never played Top Jimmy live because of an electric accident or so, it could have killed Edward while they where rehearsing it, so Eddie decided to ban it forever. Is this a kind of truth or a different kind of kabala? I guess it is just gigolie, he,he... Roth on!!!

That's weird - I've heard this urban legend as well. Something about the guitar that was differently tuned specifically for 'Top Jimmy' wasn't grounded right. If Ed had actually rehearsed that song he would have been fried, so they decided to drop that song altogether from the set list. Or is this story being mixed up with another urban legend from another iconic rock band (seems like I've heard this story with Keef and the Stones as well...)

So how did they find this out? Did they fry a roadie instead?

                            Oh dear.

As long as they play Girl Gone Bad and On Fire that is all that matters.

On fire would be great. Dave would have to sing in a low key for the high parts but would love for this song to be played live again.
