I want to get front row package too, but don't know if it's worth paying $895-$995 for it? I'm thinking of doing the $595 one for 2-15 rows, hopefully I can get mine early enough "right on public sale" so I can get in the first 10 rows at least! I don't have a American Express card! The whole American Express Pre Sale is bull shit also, Unfair!!!

For the 2007 tour stop in San Diego, I got my tickets from a lady on Craigslist. bought all 4 together. The seats were almost nosebleed and on Wolfs side of stage. But $150 face value each & I paid $300 for ALL FOUR. Was only a couple days before show & they lady was getting panicky about being stuck with them. Guess she decided half price is better than eating face value.

Score for me & 3 friends.

So yeah, if you can't afford or don't buy tix right off the bat, ebay & Craigslist are terrific alternatives. Only advice is meet somewhere public and don't go alone.

I sat in front row back in 04 for the spam show and i gotta say once you sit in the front row,its like every other seat in the place sucks. It was absolutely amazing being that close to them,Minus Spam the Sham.If you can afford it i highly recommend it.

The advantage in being that close at a Hagar show is it's actually possible to catch his eye and call him a fucking prick.

He finds that quite off putting in the middle of a show...

WHy get VIP tickets at Bosto?. You don't know where you will sit unless you buy the front row package. They may give you 15th row.

2nd row on Wolfie's side in Boston are $395. Those are GUARANTEED.

I think I was 6th or 7th row in Cleveland last tour. Got the ticket on Ticketbastard about

4 days prior to the show at regular price. Everyone around me had shelled out hundreds more for

VIP. Not worth it in my opinion, you could even end up 20 rows back!

It just makes me glad I was on the front row and even behind the barricade in the classic VH years. This tour isn't worth the trouble to go see in my opinion. I would rather put the money towards a vacation in Hawaii. Rock and Roll has become too civilized for me in this day and age. Rock has become corporate. Even Van Halen is under the octopus. Good to see them trying to give it a go and the new song sounds good but it sure as hell isn't their glory days.

I don't know, but for $895 it really should include a meet & greet with the band. Takes them what? 10 minutes to walk down a hallway or room & shake 50 peoples hands & snap a photo with them? Was there any reports of any band members popping out last tour to meet the vip's?
