I assume the band is still in El Lay. Saw a couple of weeks ago the rumor of rehearsals starting on the 20th. Any SoCal Army members doin' the recon? Could be a few days in Louisville prior to Opening Night. The KFC shows several days open leading up to the gig. Any info?

I would think they need a big room where they can have the full stage show set up with many big trucks out back so the crew can get it figured out ripping it down and setting it up every day.Comment

With a little over 2 weeks until the opening show in Louisville ---- it's guaranteed they're rehearsing in a large soundstage in LA with the full tour stage setup. That's the only way to get final tweaks on the lighting rigs, sound rigs, speaker placement, EQ and dB levels, video big screen calibration, etc. Lots of technical stuff to log into the computers.
I hope they dont have the S extension from the stage. I hated that thing. But these days with VIP Gold packages you need some kind of exclusive section so those high rollers feel special. I'm curious as to what the stage will look like.
I'm sure we'll be seeing some leaked footage from these rehearsals soon ---- just like in early Sept. 2007.Comment

Hopefully, the full on involvement that Dave has had with their direction as of late will extend to the live arena as well. In the big arena days of EEAS and Skyscraper you had to pay attention just to keep up with where Dave was. I would love to see a return to the boxing ring or some form of big time surprise. But then again, we don't want any egos to get bruised so we will take what we can get. Who knows, maybe they will incorporate the train from the album cover.RIDE TO LIVE, LIVE TO RIDE
