We will never, ever, ever have to hear again how Humans Being is Van Halens heaviest song.

And we will never ever have to hear again how their only #1 album was with Sammy. (I'm predicting a little here. We'll see soon enough with Billboard)

Humans Being was never Van Halen's heaviest song anyway. No where near it. We have to place albums in their historical context and relate it to the music of the times, what came before it etc. If we do that, then Van Halen 1 was a pretty heavy album for 1978. Even today, YRGM is easily a heavier track than Humans Being, as is 1980's Romeo Delight- which is just brutal.

Honeybaby was my instant favorite.

Diamond Dave's dog barking @ 3:18 of Honeybaby sounds better than anything Spammy ever spewed in his entire career.

I love this cd....can't wait to hear the vinyl.
Personal favorites: AS Is, Honeybaby, Bullethead, Blood and fire......like I said....love the whole damn thing but As Is back to back with Honeybaby are absolutely killer imo. As IS could have fit easily on FW. I can't believe we were deprived of this great band kicking our asses for 28 years.

I probably listened to it 10 times in the first day. It sounds so young and aggressive and hip and cool. I could see people moshing to this song if played at that type of club. It made me wonder if Wolvie had much influence. It sounds like something that would be played on my local 99X, which plays all of the new metal and progressive rock.
