Just got my copy of ADKOT yesterday afternoon...and I've been cranking it non-stop.

      I am completely blown away.

"You and Your Blues" might be in the running for my new favorite, but I have an enviable problem. The disc is so fucking good that I'm not sure I can actually choose just ONE favorite.

I gotta admit that when I flipped the case over I was hoping to see "Van Halen is: David Lee Roth, Edward Van Halen, Alex Van Halen, Wolfgang Van Halen"...but it just had "The Three Twins, LLC" and David Lee Roth. But I guess business is business and it is what it is.

I hope to God that this is not the last we hear from this lineup, because the disc is truly killer.

              Who, Sammy ? Yep.

I like what Florentine says: ADKOT is way better than the 2 Chickenshit albums put together.

Went to my local Walmart to pick up the CD this morning, and they didn't have any "Deluxe" editions at all, just the CD....

Same deal... no Deluxe versions at all in store (you got the first Deluxe one Natra). Shop assistant did not know what "Deluxe" version I was talking about so just got the Std version. Everything else was/is on order, just needed to hear it as soon as possible.

Hey gang, the Downtown Sessions are fucking awesome! Panama and Beautiful Girls are gems, and Dave's story about assumptions is classic - Eddie almost fell of his stool from laughter.

That sucks! Heading to a Best Buy at 10. If they just have the CD, I'm pushing displays over on the way out.

You have to go to a "Super Walmart", as they are the only ones stocking the Deluxe and T-shirt versions. Long story short, after visiting 3 of the stores (left at 6AM), the clerk in the 3rd one told me about this. So I went to a 4th store across town (during rush hour no less), and found the CD/DVD version and the Shirt/DC box, purchasing both for $37.91.

Oh, and even though the package was still sealed from the factory, the t shirt box features an non-shrink-wrapped CD, which seemed sort of odd.

                                Sammy and Florentine.

Florentine is confused that Sammy would pretend he hoped the album was good and say it wasn't when it was?

To not see through Hagar makes Florentine a dummy whether he likes the new album or not.
