See, I learned something, Though not a player, I'm always interested in his playing, Even just simple stuff like picking, How he holds it, Using the whammy bar, At what times in the song, etc. The other thing, In the videos, It dos'nt look hard at all, I mean it's just so smooth. Of course, I know, Even Edward practices, But he is just so smooth, But always on the attack, At least on ADKOT.

I have NEVER seen anyone that can replicate Eddie's "humming bird" speed picking. Not no one. Not no how. Particularly how his pick hand floats above the strings.
If you listen carefully during live performance you can hear the pick "fluttering" on the strings. It's really amazing as I'm sure you guys know.

It is not just you. As much as I enjoy watching Ed's "prisoner in his own castle" performance of Catherine from the smut soundtrack, he jus abuses the shit out the sustainer there. Same with that Respect the Wind instrumental on Twister. Honeybabysweetiedoll is just right. His exit in Me Wise Magic is a tolerable amount, too. The opening 20 seconds to the turd Learning To See are pretty cool. What a waste of an intro.

Ed's solos on this album are fantastic!!!! One of them even reminds me a bit of a specific part of the Romeo Delight solo, but I can't think which song right now. Hmmmm? I better listen to the album again. I'm gonna do it now.
