Dear RothArmy members.
It gives me great pleasure to announce a new initiative called Operation Good News At Sammy Hagar©®™
Many of us for some time have been troubled and worried that Mr Hagar seems to be unaware of good news about Van Halen and David Lee Roth. In interviews he seems to be ignorant of widespread excitement of the new album and tour or even of the sales of Classic Van Halen compared to his unfortunate liaison with the Van Halen brothers.
To address this using modern technology the plan is to help him via his Twitter©®™ account using the hash tag #GNASH and you can help.
Each day from now until the end of the tour Operation GNASH©®™ supporters will send a tweet to @sammyhagar. These tweets should be entirely positive and not in any way criticise the man in any way rather they will merely link him to Good News about Van Halen. Even so it is possible that he may block these messages so it is important that as many people as possible contribute otherwise Sammy may miss out on some good news stories.
Feel free to post the tweet that you have sent to Sammy here but if you wish to keep your twitter account anonymous that's all good. You may even decide to set up a temporary twitter account in order to help.
I'm proud today to have sent the first Operation GNASH©®™ tweet and look forward to your help in this important education initiative. I chose the Charlie Sheen tweet to send to him but of course there are all sorts of links that Sammy could benefit from being sent.
Hopefully with your help a barrage of Good News At Sammy Hagar will cheer him up stopping him from being ill informed and unhappy about the band. Of course if it drives him nuts instead that's not our fault.
Thanks in anticipation of your support in this important community action, remember to use #GNASH.
If you wish to monitor progress in the project you can go to www.twitter.com and do a search for #GNASH
