Van Halen.... Australia awaits your arrival yet again!

Surely VH can't leave us Aussies with the LIVE memories of only one tour they ever did here being the 1998 tour on the back of the VH III album with Cherone falling about the arena and Eddie's guitar lead not being long enough for him to move further than his pedal board!!!!

DLR toured Australia once in 1988... very cool band Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan and Greg Bissonette.

Any other peoples of the world needin' a visit from the classic VH ?

It should be this tour 2012, then you can call it a World Tour. Otherwise it is just a home run with a trip to the snow.

I agree - we got shafted with the SWR fiasco - been hearing strange squeaks that it had nothing to do with 'any 2nd headliner'... but that VH themselves pulled the pin on it..... sadly scary - I didnt see VH III in 98' because I wanted the CVH line-up, didnt want to shatter my youth...... a pal of mine did - said it was a sad thing to see, they filled the venues, but it was a shadow of the former glory. I think I was overseas when DLR toured with Skyscraper in 88, would have loved to see it...... I'm willing to sell a kidney for this incarnation to tour our shores in Australia..... on a per capita basis we have a HUGE VH fanbase ..... if they do Japan, the HAVE to do Oz......... or I'm jumpin' a plane and see them...

I can't see how a movement in the VH camp of this proportion could exclude an arena-killing world tour. Maybe even World Cup...or a Super Bowl halftime show...or an appearance on "The Voice". All are possibilities.
