Normally I'd vote Ellefson (He hates being called Jr.) but not this fucking time. I'd like to think Ellefson himself would be okay with that under the circumstances.

Fucking LOVE Ellefson. Wrote him some letters back in early 2000's when he was in F5 and he mailed me back some picks....1 of which was a green Megadeth pick. Awesome dude! I didn't even ask. Just wanted to write him & say good luck & he's awesome.

Just need to state my utter disbelief at Alex being ignored in the Best Drummer category, and ADKOT being shut out of the best album list. Voted for Ed, Wolf, and comeback - but those are glaring oversights that don't sit well with me.

If one were to think twice about it... vote the kid up. What better motivation than getting an award like this for a 20 year old young man. If he won... When the current tour ends he'd be up early every morning draggin his dad and uncle into the studio to crank out the next record. Feed the beast... at least 25% of the band is young and hungry.
