I can kinda see Slipknot winning the 'comeback' award as they 'coming back' after the death of their bassist.

Slash as Riff Lord. I've no real problem with that either, or with Avenged Sevenfold winning stuff.

But Sixx and the drummer from 5 Finger Death Punch? Please.

I guess that's what happens when you open the awards to online voting......
