Diamond Mafia Forever - 4. To restore fullbug to the prominent place in this board, after various serious attacks by hitch1969 have now damaged his reputation and now is reguarded as a "Retarded, Stoned, Canadian, Dog finger bangin' fuckup"
Great read, Thank you so much for posting. As usual, Dave is so damned interesting in print and you can just hear his voice in every interview.
Not so sure about that big close-up though. When I look at his bottom teeth, it makes me feel better about not having visited a dentist in a few summers.
That is a great read, but it certainly sounded like he was slagging Wolf in his answer to the question about Wolf's contribution. I found that odd. But otherwise, classic Dave.

Agree somewhat - although the album really kicks in for me at You And Your Blues and doesn't let up until the end - including Big River - which I think is one of, if not THE best track on the album. This guy smacks of someone who thinks himself a little too important for classic Van Halen, he's got his old REM albums to cling to and maybe a new U2 in the future.
Stay Frosty is Dave at his lyrical best and that song just has a great kick in the ass boogie to it and Big River...that is my favorite song on the LP. It is not that Tattoo is not a good song either, it just is out of place compared to the rest of the tracks in the way the style comes across and seems to be just a obvious radio friendly tune that could be played on a broad number of stations and who could blame them for that approach. This album is really good!
