My son is debating whether he should wear his "It Ain't Van Halen Without David Lee Roth" t-shirt or not (He's a purist). He will probably go with the one he has of Eddie doing his little jump playing the guitar......

Tell him to go with the "It Ain't Van Halen Without David Lee Roth" shirt....guaranteed to be the right choice!

I think you should wear a bright yellow Cabo Wabo shirt and a big sombrero to the show.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

Thanks Zing! Forgot about that shirt at Target. Almost picked it up a couple times already, but it is one of those tight muscle fit deals and my fat ass would look silly in the thing.

I really don't think my kids have ever heard a post Dave VH tune, honestly. In a marriage, there are certain things you compromise on, and certain things you hold your line. Despite my wife, this is a Dave or the grave house and I will be making a trip to Target it looks like.

And I only wear sombreros May 5th.

            Thanks guys...

That's only a good idea if you are filled with candy for when the crowd busts you open.

A-men... no matter what your excuse was... by supporting Van Hagar you contributed to the delay of a true reunion and the over inflated ego of that fat piece of shit Hagar.

You want the kids to feel like they fit in?
What about the truth? You did say it: it´s a Dave show.....

                        Your kiddin right?

Put your kids in throw away t shirts and buy them new shirts at the show.

When you all get home, grab the barbecue lighter fluid and celebrate in style with some s'mores roasted over a fire that you started with the Sammy era t shirts.

Don't let your kids look like fools wearing a Sammy shirt at a Roth concert, they'll thank ya for it later.

I saw a guy wearing a Balance tee shirt the other night at the Atlanta show. Kind of pissed me off a bit but wasn't worth getting into a fuss over. I wanted to tell him what a dork he looked like but i figured it went without saying.

The dude probably thought any Van Halen shirt was good enough (and yes, I'm cringing at calling that a "Van Halen" shirt). I'm gonna be wearing my Roth Army shirt, loud and proud bitches!!! I don't even care about buying a shirt at the show this time. And at this point in the game I'm seriously thinking all of the Van Halen concert Ts should have the Roth Army logo on them anyway!!

Well it wasn't like it was a 'pure' Van Hagar show, shit Metallica and the Scorpions were there too. That was the only Sam show I ever went to and I still (in 1988) couldn't get over the fact Dave wasn't there. I saw them in Memphis and remember spam doing his running in place and jumping jack aerobics style dancing and thinking "man that's pretty lame" plus the fact life in general just didn't seem right with him up there. It was the middle of July and hot as hell there with a capacity crowd. They carried out a bunch of people due to heat exhaustion and started spraying the crowd on the field down with firehoses to cool them off.

Pretty awesome show though when you consider the lineup despite spambo being at the VH helm.

But back to the shirt... best to leave it at home imo.
